  1. Buium only makes $1 Million a YEAR……..ONE!!!!!……the guy just turned TWENTY last WEEK!!!

  2. Canucks need to move out other players like Sherwood, Garland before his trade protection kicks in for more assets. Then weaponize the cap space they have by taking teams undesirable contracts like a Palat for example and making teams give them assets to do that. This would help speed up the rebuild a lot while also helping them tank. More assets the better.

  3. Craig Button is just another hockey talking head like Eliot Friedman and others who can't publicly talk about one of the biggest problems that Canucks have, because they're afraid to. That's Elias Petterson EP40, one of the highest paid players in the NHL, and certainly the most over-rated. Petey is a good player but he is not worth almost as much as Connor McDavid, and $3 million more than Quinn Hughes. Petey's current stats are very poor compared to what the expectations are. He's dropped down to #108 in the league. Rutherford and Allvin have made him their start franchise player of the future. But anyone who continues to believe in the "Petey's going to turn it around" will be sorely disappointed. As of today Canucks are the worst team in the NHL at #32. In reality it would be best to trade Petey, but unlike Quinn Hughes, who wants him?

  4. real comfort to hear we got someone a defenseman super talented in return for quinn

  5. There’s no guaranteed home run picks outside the top three. Canucks will never “rebuild” cuz corporate customers will flee in droves.

  6. I would’ve liked one more first round. At least try to counter the first offer. Don’t just take the first offer.

  7. Truth is Quinn wanted to play in a US team, he is super happy to be in Mini. Time to everyone to move on, he wanted out! Keep players who wants to stay in Canada and Van, send the rest out

  8. As for the pronunciation of Sasson's name, we have no problem calling Guy Fieri of Diners, Drive Ins And Dives Fieri, even though if you look at his parents' names, it's Ferry, so this shouldn't be a problem. Granted, my guess is, the name was originally Fieri, because I think Guy has Italian ancestry and it was Anglicized for obvious reasons. I can't criticize. Originally, paternally speaking, my last name was MacDonald, but for some screwed up reason, they dropped the capital D when they moved from the UK to Alberta. Yeah, that checks out.

  9. Lankinen seems like a liability right now. He's got AHL stats. I say play him at least 50% of the remaining games. Pick as high as possible. Roll out Thatcher next year. The Canucks will be very competitive next year if this is the case. If mgmt. trade Demko they should be dropped off at the docks in Tswassen.
