  1. Has Elliot Friedman EVER been right about any trade?
    "I think, I think & more I think"
Any fool that'd listen to his opinions are just that.

  2. You have to understand that Quinn Hughes and his agent controlled where he went. So it’s not accurate to say New Jersey was out of it, Friedman.

  3. plz stop talking about devils and rumor nothing is happen cuz palat and dougie can blocks also quinn wasnt fixing anything in NJ and losing nemec and mercer is an L the fwd group is so weak why make it worse? Rumor is also NJ wants old slow washed player aka stammer and marchesaultt. instead of getting someone for the locker roomAKA ROR/Schenn. im so sick and tired of quinn to nj talk it wasnt never gonna happen. Devils were over the cap and still are now that pesce is back so tell me again how the mercer nemc silayev trade would work? it doesnt cuz nj is taking on cap to weaken a position of need. yall are milking this too bad give it up. its cringe

  4. Rasmus Andersson to Vegas…and before you go and talk Cap nonsense; think about it. It can happen

  5. Palat is something Calgary will be interested in. 34 years years old, make the trade all ready.

  6. The NJD don't need to give up assets for Quinn because they can get him for free in 1.5 years.

  7. No trade clauses need to go man. You’ve got 3rd and 4th liners who can barely move the puck with no trade clauses.

  8. Curious why so teams let Douge Hamilton Go Boston Traded him to Calgary flames trade him to Carolina he signs with devils now they might trade him.

  9. As a Pred I will say this. Personally I’d move anybody out of Nashville apart from Josi. He has risen to Rinne/talisman status, is too old and too injury-prone now to be of much interest anyways.
That comment by Friedman regarding Preds financial status is clearly very important for Barry.
He pays Duchene a healthy 6.5 of Duchene’s 8M aav another 1.5 season. He tops it off with one of Poile’s worst trades-Turris will still get 2M for about the same length as Duchene IIRC. A guy like Skjei gets 7M aav/7 years. He has 1 goal in 39 games I think it was. Stammer 8M for another 2.5 seasons.
So Barry’s wiggle-room is very limited. He aint eating money in any trade simply out of neccessity.
Too much dead money in the water.
Now, regarding ROR, he is the only one of our bluechips without a NMC. He is far and away Preds best and most stable player the last 2.5 seasons.
He is the perfect 2C for any team in the league.
But here’s the thing. He likes it in Nashville. ‘I want to finish this project’ as he has stated a couple of times. So Barry treats him like he has a NMC our local pundits say.
And, there is another argument Elliott bypassed down here. We are a small and relatively unique market, and atm we look pretty miserable.
But like it or not, Tennessee are one of those tax-haven states in the south like Florida.
If you tell me that didnt matter for a guy like Marner when he moved to Vegas, I would laugh you straight in the face. We live in a cynical world.
NJ are one of those high-end taxation states, so atm ROR would have to eat a considerable salary reduction if he were to move there. I would take an offer and move him tomorrow. I want Stenberg, McKenna, Lawrence, Verhoeff. But would ROR move? Not so sure, unless you show up with some sort of economic compensation

  10. 6:04 no Elliotte you where right the first time, its Andrei, not Evgeny (his brother who isnt playing in the leauge anymore)
