Glad to see you smile. Officiating was disgusting. Score-afeeyev always scores on us. Parent looked good. Noesen was hustling. Luke was okay. Pesce and Bratt, all that and of course, Jake the Snake!
The goaltending battle was incredible. But Allen played one of his best games to date for us!
Hopefully, this starts a turnaround but I don't really know, cap needs to be freed up, Hopefully Mercer doesn't get cut. Dougie needs to go along with Palat.
I never thought, that one single Player could have such an Impact on the team, but with the Return of B. Pesci the Devils are a complete different team, especially the defence is playing on a much higher level.
National broadcast sucks. Lundquist sucks. They won’t ever call out bad officiating
It’s night and day when Pesce is inserted in this lineup. You can just see how much more confident our forwards are, they skate faster, forecheck and back check harder. And i really do believe it’s cause they know they can when brett has their back on the blue line. His play carries so far in the locker room and his absence was detrimental to this group

Surprising victory. Vegas hits the post in overtime. Luck was also on their side, with a good Allen and a very smart Jesper. The Devils' normal rhythm would now be a defeat against Utah. I'm happy to be surprised again.
Couldn’t make the live , passed out halfway through the 3rd lol – listen, first off, whoever said strip Nico of captaincy .. ridiculous. He works his a$$ off. Yes, he is not Scott Stevens, obviously. But Stevens led by example, and if the team played as hard as Nico did night in, night out, they wouldn’t be in as deep a hole. Second, I remember Elias getting stripped of the C, would never want Nico to go through that
To your question, as a Nico Stan, if the Devils next year are poised to be a threat & Nico has not committed, it goes 1 of 2 ways. If you are getting a rental, nope, you sink with the captain because unless that rental is far better than Nico, it could be the same result. That said, as much as it pains me, and I as a grown man would cry 😭 you would have to trade him for the good of the club. Not for picks because I don’t trust Fitz. You make a blockbuster deal to someone in the West.
Side note: Allen needs to play 2 outta every 3 games moving forward, this back n forth with Marky is nuts.
Great 60 min effort last night, boys had their skating legs on and was very encouraging! That being said, if Keefe runs Marky out tomorrow I will be livid. Gotta ride the hot hand in Allen. LGD!
I can’t imagine how much worse this season would be if we didn’t have Allen playing so well with how inconsistent Marky has been!

This team has no excuse to not be playing .600 hockey with Pesce back. Once we get Timo, Grits & Nemo or Kovy we should be .650, then Jack should get us to .700-7.25

I don’t think anyone realizes how big a loss Palat would be to this team. Put points aside, he is a GRINDER and super solid defensively. Our 3rd line will deteriorate without him.
