Avg top 6 forwards gets 63 points a year .. Tippet's top is 53
I would drive Tippett to the airport myself if they were to get either one of them
Should focus on the rebuild rather than making a push and trying to acquire new players . This team isn’t winning the cup this year lol
That’s weird, I was just talking about trading for Beniers a few hours ago. I think he’d do a hell of a lot better playing in Phillys top 6 than Seattle that’s for sure
Need a 1C, a first line 6’3-6’4 power forward who can score from anywhere and a game changing dman who can skate and score.
Seattle is the place for a young talented center make your choice Beniers, Shane wright, Berkly Catton and Jake O'Brien
If they're play Zegras maybe that will be ok
CENTER Zegras
Konecny for Beniers or Shane wright
No. That would be akin to when Calgary traded for Frost and Farabee and thought they (Calgary) did something good or worthwhile. Like Frost and Farabee, Berniers and Wright are just not that good. If i had to choose between the two, Wright would be preferred because he is good on faceoffs (a big need) and plays in all 3 zones. Matty just doesn't score enough at this level to justify the price.
Keep first round pick trade Konecny, anyway they're will trade maybe in 3 years
I am happy we got Zegs but he isn't a center. I played center for years ….and you have to win faceoffs and that's not Zegs game which is totally fine.
I'd love either or . . . . .Wright for team Canada in his last world juniors was pretty awesome
not sure Beniers or Wright would really help….they don't seem that good to me. Agree with some of the comments that they are only so so talent and not worth rocking the rebuild boat. I wouldn't trade current roster players for them, maybe a couple prospects like Barkey or Bonk.
Don't see enough of these western teams to be able to form an informed opinion
Like Clark’s lights “the little lights aren’t twinkling Clark ” Danny not gonna move until offseason.
Wouldn't it be cheaper for the flyers to aquire the disgruntled center brad lambert from Winnipeg. Hes not as established but we have plenty of picks and prospects to make that trade work instead of giving up more for Shane Wright. I doubt the kraken move Berniers.
