Je suis allé à une brasserie robotisée, un bar affilié aux cannes et ils n’avaient même pas un seul téléviseur dédié aux cannes. Le personnel a déclaré qu’il ne pouvait pas le changer avant la fin du match, ce qui est naturellement passé en prolongation. Je connais les règles du football dans le sud, mais deux équipes extérieures à la Caroline et de nombreux autres bars où aller où le même match de football m’a laissé un mauvais goût dans la bouche. C’est juste dommage que j’aie fait des projets pour ce samedi autour du hockey et que j’ai été pris en otage par le football.

This is what I hate about the NFL playoffs. Even as a Carolina Panthers fan, nothing annoys me more than Bars being full of TVs only with whatever playoff game is on, despite the fact that anyone can pick up the game at home with an ATTENA! Literally don’t even need cable to watch the NFL.( Except for one or two games on ESPN or Amazon but you watch the Amazon games on Twitch.) Meanwhile hockey fans are held hostage by fanduel and cable plans that are a pain in the ass.
They’ll lose being a Canes bar then.
If they’ve done the process to be officially listed, they’re required to show every game with volume in their business.
I would have left.
Let the canes know one of their affiliated bars isn’t showing their games. Wanna be a canes bar? Show the damn games. Otherwise fuck off

I went there one time for a canes playoff game (I think in the 23-24 season), and the drag show that had booked the brewery before the game was overstaying their allotted time frame. the brewery held us outside with no game sound until halfway through the first period, and even then they put the sound on quietly while the drag performance continued at max volume.
Never went back. Pretty uninviting watching experience. Great beer tho and the drag show was at least pretty fun to watch.
Much the same issue as trying to find or create a Canes bar in Denver with the Milehighcaniacs.
I tried my ass off for years. If it ever comes to be, we’re going to have to open a bar specifically for the purpose of being a Canes bar or something like it.
I had an experience like this at R&D brewing of all places. Some frat brajs said “it’s college football Saturday bro” while UCLA v Notre Dame hogged the tubes.

It’s sad that the Canes haven’t punched through the sports bar scene entirely. I’ve been to many places that had 8 screens of Sports Center when a Canes game was on. The bartender is always nice about changing a screen to the game, always with « oh, there’s a game tonight? »
The game was on inside. On two TVs.
Knowing football would be a huge issue in Southend yesterday, Wooden Robot made the schedule encouraging fans to go to the NoDa location where again the game was on as well.
Wooden Robot staff (I don’t work for them) are far more often complained to or yelled at for putting the Canes on OVER other sports. Including yesterday. Far more people complained that there was hockey on TVs during football.
There are TVs at both locations that are auto tuned to each Canes game.
I too am disappointed about Bo Nix’s injury
Saddest thing is that since the Broncos won and Bo Nix is injured, the game only served to eliminate the Bills. A big nothing burger of a game.
Yeah report it and pick a better place, I know all the, checks notes, Buffalo and Denver fans, we have living in the area will be disappointed that one tv will not show a game most didn’t care about…
Before reading the post I was like “oh neat a fellow Canes and Bills fan! Kinda weird post for this sub but I’m also disappointed the Bills lost!” Lol
