I'm glad that the Bruins didn't make a trade for him if it included Lohrei, Poitras, and a 1st round pick. Way too much for someone who won't put them over the top and didn't want to sign an extension to be a Bruin. Anderson would be a final piece for a contender for the Cup.

The next two drafts are supposed to be very deep drafts, i would not object to holding onto all four first rounder picks. and star getting really serious about drafting and developing your own. if you are hoing to swing for the fences that is what free agency is for.

How did the NHL screw you? Anderson said last year he wanted to go to Vegas. I wouldn't be suprised if Boston's offer was a bit better but if Anderson told them no to an extension they either pulled it or cut it back. It worked out for what the Flames could get.
