@Penguins de Pittsburgh

    You can tell they’re young by their face hah

    They’re all so young. How have they all gotten so old when I haven’t aged at all?

    Miss those days for more reasons than I can even say.

    Ohhhh maaannn. I remember staying up to watch the ticker at the bottom of the screen to see if Malkin scored. I was so happy when he did because he tied an NHL record going back to the first year of the league (1917-8) by scoring in his first 6 straight NHL career games.

    I believe that streak included his punching the glass goal vs New Jersey « shades of Mario ». I always think back to those few weeks as the renaissance of penguins hockey. Like after the shitty post-Jagr era, the team on the ice finally looked like a competitive team

    Thanks for these pics OP

    Great times, but I much prefer the bold colors of their jerseys now.

    I loved these jerseys. Unpopular opinion for sure but I’d love to see a Vegas gold alt one day

    Crosby with an A patch and Malkin without one is wild to see.

    Wild that the only one of those guys who’s retired is Fleury.

    Excellent times ahead, guys. Just be patient; 2009, ’16-’17 are worth the wait. Even 2008 was great.

    Almost 20 years ago and now I feel old. Also, I miss Staal. Really liked him.

    Alternate captain Sid is one of the rarest Crosbys. That’s a cool photo to have.

    Ah, a Geno post on a day with no game. Thanks OP.

    Oh my… I’ve been wearing my Staahl jersey for two days straight. He was my favorite and my first jersey. The good old days!
