That was the typical overachievers game for the Flyers.
Simply, Flyers don't have what it takes to win consistently. Defense, Goalie, Special Teams, Elite players, 2 way players. It's been like this for 50 plus years! Another 50 years of average talent at best coming.
Nice win. But it's amazing how the refereeing is so one-sided against the Flyers.
I gotta give Ersson his flowers. The man has been putrid for a while now, but today he was solid in net and finally had some puck luck with those posts. I hope he can turn his season around, because his entire career, I feel, is on the line.
