Demidov has been surprisingly solid defensively. Last year when he joined he lacked that defensive aspect. This year hes been solid and fights hard battles when he does lose the puck
Demidov has kucherovs tools with more hustle. Demidov is fantastic at getting steals in the neutral zone steals he’s pretty active on the boards and is good without the puck

Demi is an attack dog on puck carriers. He’s really good at keeping his stick away from the gloves. Super annoying in the neutral zone.
Demidov is +9 in his first year of hockey on the top 6. That is pretty crazy.
With how hard Demi fights for the puck I sometimes imagine him as a guest star on the PK once in a while, might get some shorthanded points!
