yup, wrong guy got fired. we could have been spared all that drama that led up to this reunion if Shanny had just let them do what they knew they needed to do based on the research.

LOL without approval from the team Dubas did his own press conference to whine about how hard it is being Leafs GM and how he doesn’t want to do it anymore unless he’s given more power. Him getting the axe over that was entirely predictable and Marner’s people certainly didn’t need to do anything to ensure that.

I can’t believe the attempts to rehabilitate this guy’s image. He inherited the best young core in franchise history and built a team that won two series. End of story. That’s the definition of a loser.
