Treliving and the second best offer for a traded player, an iconic duo.

No first rounder till 2028, but they could have had a better offer. Ok then.

lol the writing on this is terrible:
While there’s not much anyone can do about it now, it seems that Brad Treliving is not too pleased with how things turned out and in trying to acquire his former defenseman — felt slighted by Calgary.
According to a report from TSN’s Chris Johnston, Treliving was unhappy with the logistics of the trade and felt that he could have fielded a better offer had the Flames been more open to a deal:
“They don’t have the assets needed to get in on a lot of the bidding for these players; it’s no secret that Treliving likes Rasmus Andersson…would’ve liked to have been more meaningfully involved.”
The article makes it sound like the Flames purposefully ignored the Leafs while the actual quote they referenced is basically saying the Leafs didn’t have the assets make the trade in the first place.

Validity of the source or not. Treliving needs to have a “you fucked this franchise” tax applies to whatever he wants from us

Sorry, which defenseman coming back is a Whitecloud comparable?
