Dumb coach. Oh well trade him for our first round pick back, he deserves to play in the playoffs
Berube’s line deployment is mental
Second worst coaching decision tonight, after the move to start Stolarz, would’ve went Woll all day long.. Laughton is a dog and should’ve at least got 13-15 TOI tonight

Absolutely stupid. Tossed on fourth line with jarny and Stevie. Still scores. Put him higher in the lineup. Maybe move Roy down or Tavares and Roy
Laughton is a guy who should be playing bottom 6 minutes 5 on 5, top PK, some 2nd unit powerplay time, and get some bonus shifts in the top 6/9. With nylander out i dont understand why he wouldn’t get the odd shift up in the lineup when hes so clearly been an effective player every game. I hope he signs with some term to stay here and he takes the A from rielly cause god damn does he try every shift and gets the boys going.

We desperately need to fire Treliving and Berube.
For all the flak Berube gets for his poor tactical coaching, he deserves a lot of flak for his in game awareness. He never has any clue which players deserve to be rewarded with more ice time or which players deserve less, he just rolls his lines with no thought
But we play macceli for 20 minutes, makes sense

I was at the game and didn’t even realize his TOI was so low *because* he was so impactful and I noticed him a lot. I probably noticed him every shift then lol.
I don’t hate Marcelli but he loses the puck in offensive zone too much and not good at PP entry.
One good thing about this season has been Laughton. what a player. What a dog.

This drives me insane and I truly think he won’t re sign here with this type of deployment. Why wouldn’t you want to go somewhere else with a better opportunity?
Guys, the reason is because he trusts that line the most after Matthews. And they were riding Matthews all night long. So wanted a defensively sound line he can trust to be able to throw out incase Matthews was just off a long shift. It just never came cause the leafs had them on the ropes for the second half for the most part.
