Dobson and Hutson should play together a lot more

  2. PhiberOptikz

A lot of those pairings match the eye test.

Honestly I’d do Hutson/Dobson, Matheson/Xhekaj, Guhle/Carrier for a few games before the Olympic break

  4. It makes Hutson’s number even more impressive seeing how he plays so little with top D’s.

I’m a casual fan and surprised Xekaj is on the second best pairing. I like him but doesn’t he get scratched half the time?

Why is Slaf-Kapa-Demi so low? I only get to watch the highlights/look up stats, cant watch actual games. But I feel like this is the best line Habs have for a while now..?

I don’t have much to say about the forward pairings, but the defense pairings do have a bit of bias and I’ll take them with a grain of salt for sure.

Matheson/Dobson get the toughest defensive assignments and it will hurt their stats. Hutson/Dobson is mostly deployed when we are pushing for a goal, and the whole team is pushing while the opponent is trying to defend and barely attacking.

Struble has taken a big step back this year.

  8. Carrier-Hutson or Dobson-Hutson are usually used late in the game when the Habs are trailing and pushing for goals and the other team is just turtling, so I’d be curious to see these weighted for game score.

How is Texier-Suzuki-Caufield showing a xGF% of 65%, but an xGF of 1 and xGA of 2? Stats dont seem to make sense there
