Not gloating over my assessment, but I remember suggesting moving Slaf to the second line and a lot of people hounded me for proposing to break up one of the best scoring lines in the league
And now look at him. He’s entered a new level of his career. Not to bash Kapanen because I love that kid, but imagine if Hage enters that lineup with Slaf and Demidov? Fuck me

Captain Nick and Cole are such smart players that it was nice to have him learn from them but was sort of limiting as well. Nice to see him reach this point so early.
