Such a different feeling in tie games this year. No panic. Just stick to the plan and if anything – like in the third period – up the intensity. So nice to watch a game and not have that “oh fuck we’re gonna cave” feeling in your stomach.

It seems like the team believes in themselves now that they have solid goaltending. That’s been the real difference.
Im a little bit worried and excited at the same time that Gibson is going to find a second gear in his career like Bob did with the Panthers. I was really looking forward to seeing Cossa take over in Detroit but if Gibson keeps playing like this Cossa might have to pack his bags just like Stolarz and Knight did in Florida.

Boston is in the WC2 position with a .596 point %. That comes to 97.75 or effectivwly 98 point total to get into the playoffs. I don’t see that going down as teams near the bottom sell assets and contenders improve.
