@Sharks de San José

C’est une décision audacieuse de la part des requins…

  1. I love Kiefer's game, but he's both earned a good raise, and with where Vancouver are at, it would be a terrible move to try to keep him vs moving him for the return(that 30 thing and the team being absolutely terribad right now). While some seem to be pushing for everyone but Kief and Zeev get shipped out for a bag of pucks, there are still good pieces on the roster that could be useful to have on a rebuilding roster.

  2. Our new enforcer Ned would like to have a word with you about our playoffs hopes 😂

  3. Sherwood is like a family dog. Loyal and fierce to those who threaten his family (not that he’s a dog but you know what I mean lol)

  4. Love this trade for the Sharks. Their forward core is suddenly looking really good. Could make a trade for a solid dman

  5. As a vancouverite, this hurts to not see us get a first back. Sherwood ought to be one of the biggest guys on the trade block, total gamer

  6. Why do the Sharks need those 2nd round picks? They have a great prospect pool already, they also had 3 2nds in the next two drafts.

  7. I could also see the sharks dealing sherwood for a 1st rounder at the deadline if they aren’t in a playoff spot at that time

  8. I don't thing it's a bad trade, but I don't think it's the right trade. I think it's great they are pushing for the playoffs as they should, especially building a winning culture, but I think those assets are better used for younger prospect with potential, especially on defense.

  9. Our PK needs help so thats a great start, just feels an unnecessary move at this stage, seems early to pull the plug on draft capital as we clearly arent ready yet. Misa played his best game so far in his nhl career and chernyshov looks a ready calibred nhl guy. Regenda has also emerged as a depth power forward/grinder who has a great net presence and scoring touch. Sherwood would be absolutely ideal if this was a year or two later. However I do beleive we make the playoffs and he would be absolutely phenomenal in the playoffs. As you say celebrini needs rewarding and this could be the player who slots in on eklunds line and give us depth pop and scoring and eventually brings us back to the playoffs. Heres hoping.

  10. Could someone do a pulse check on Buffalo? How can you not reward that team. We don’t need all 20429 prospects and picks….

  11. Love Sherwood on and off the ice – as a Sharks fan I'm stoked to see an aggressive get like this. Even if the potential playoff run is shattered, I think you're right this is a reward for good play. Sherwood will lighten everyone else's workload a little bit with his energy and skill, bring veteran experience to a painfully young team, and help bear the responsibility of enforcement/protecting the young talent.

    While they risk losing him end of season, he probably wants to stay in the Bay – it's a great place to live and the future is Teal, Go Sharks!
