I know everyone said the Canes played poorly (despite the win), but maybe Ottawa just played better than expected last night? 🤔🤔

hill had a bad game and was never pulled. vgk had a 41% on deserve to win which isn’t even too bad
Different Goalie. The Senators seem to be having goalie problems this year.
Also, Bussi basically stood on his head last night.
The Hurricanes would be in goalie hell if Bussi wasn’t breaking records.
Bussi did play very well for us last night. I dont think we played that poorly, but he did cover up some good chances we gave them.
I think it’s more the Senators are pissed.
I think we’re good. Ottawa was really hungry in the 2nd and 3rd of last night’s game. Bussi kinda saved us.
I find the Canes don’t respond well to being outworked, probably true for every team but seems like they struggle getting things to swing back their way. It doesn’t feel like they’re giving up or not trying, just can’t get any momentum.
I have nothing to back that up though and am welcoming anyone to embarrass me with stats of how good we are at comebacks.
I sat behind the Sens bench last night. They were capital P Pissed when the game ended.
