Willy’s talented but has no class to speak of. Same for Matthews. Thought he needed time to grow into his Captaincy but that experiment has been an unmitigated disaster.

Holy crap, the media kept hammering away at Mathews for 14 minutes! That is exhausting to watch and as a player, it makes it tough to focus on the ice and hockey. Why do that? Same crap all the time, same questions. You guys are fishing for a sensational message. Knock it off!!! There are going to be 23 US players, get out to Ottawa, Montreal, and anywhere else to speak with US players.

Who cares about silly Willy joking around, Matthews being emotionally overwhelmed to the point he can't handle a question about Marner or speak after big games is far more worrying. He always seems to fall apart when there is pressure on him, hence the leafs playoff record
