I hate seeing future Hall of Fame goalie Quick go out like this. First a series of games where outstanding goalie performances (by both guys) were utterly wasted by an offense that couldn't score… now the guy is just being hung out to dry with zero support.What a disgrace.
Pang said it …this is Drury’s team….. and NY fans know this is his fault. With the exception of Panarin , every player on this team has been signed, re-signed or traded for by Drury.
The Rangers have been one big head-case for years even when they were winning. They need a housecleaning but they don’t have the people in place to do it.

The hiring of Sullivan by GM Drury is a veritable disaster. This coach has no clue and concept how to get this Rangers team to play competitively, and to play consistently and hard every single game. Sullivan must be in panic mode, because he had it easy with the Penguins team he coached previously, he could almost put it on cruise control and Pittsburgh would win. He's clueless on getting this team motivated and even more so on instilling discipline with the players. Drury is just as clueless for hiring him, because this coach is a fraud. Laviolette was no prize either, but at least he showed better results.
What is the point of having a discussion panel if they are all going to talk around what the issues are? Chris Drury has created a toxic environment that has ruined the chemistry of this team, and the owner backed Drury in the wrong side of a mutiny that tried to take him out, and nobody trusts each other. It's why we've run through three career coaches in a row who can't right this ship. The Cancer is above the coach.
Rangers are old, slow, are under a terrible system for their roster and have zero leadership on the ice. They've also drafted TERRIBLY.
James Dolan recently said, “Don’t give up on my team” and “Drury and Sullivan are building a culture”. It starts at the top people, ownership!
This team is old ands had its run it’s time to clean House and rebuild not retool 32 years enough of quick fixes and lousey draft picks fire the lead dumpsters sather and drury and the scouts straight to the unemployment line asap
watched the Rangers my whole life. Seen a lot of bad Ranger teams, but this season and laster year were the first time I was ever ashamed of the Rangers. We squander every young talent we acquire or draft. Hank retired without a Cup because we wasted his talents on chasing that high priced UFA. Now we are going to do the same thing to Igor. Squandering goalies like Hank and Igor back to back is an unforgivable hockey sin. Drury has finally assembled his Avengers with Sullivan and JT Miller and in reality we got the Eternals. They aren't just a bad team, they are a weak team. The NY Rangers are an unserious hockey organization.

Drury should have been gone years ago IMO, what we’re witnessing right now is an absolute disgrace!
Shesterkin should ask for a trade to a good team. He's wasting his career with a team that's going into reset mode and wasting more of his time.
Drury needs to be fired; he already did his re-tool and has made a ton of bad trades since becoming GM. Also, trading for Miller and giving him that big contract was a huge mistake; he lacks the temperament to be the Captain, especially in a big media market like NY. After all of the moves he has made, the closet is bare. The Wolfpack (AHL) is terrible, with maybe 3 4th line NHL players (maybe) and not much else in the pipeline.
