People are really overestimating the effect thats a « director of sports science and performance » had on this team.

I’m sure when Pelley was brought in by Edward Rogers there was a mandate to cut cost. Rogers is notoriously cheap. They’ll make it look like they will shell out for the big names and they have but behind the scenes, departments are getting cut.

I think it might actually take serious levels of fan protest for anything to go in the right direction for the leafs organization, cause MLSE does not care and their job security only gets better and better
I read a theory a couple days ago that there are more injured players this year because they are avoiding the drugs that can let the play through the pain so they won’t fail an Olympic drug test. Honestly it makes sense.
