I hope Tuch signs a one year contract because of the Skinner buyout next year 6.65 mill and the year after that it's only 2.2 mill. Than Tuch gets his ask especially if the Sabres are a playoff team/ top 3 of the Atlantic

There is no "looming decision" on Tuch. the sabres are buyers right now and got the inside track to the playoffs. he either gets re-signed long term or stays through this years playoffs, but he won't be traded.

I was contemplating whether they should go for Thomas is Blues are willing. With Norris always hurt, he could step in as a #1. It would definitely mean losing Tuch at the end of the season though.
