I can understand the sentiment, he’s spent years here waiting for meaningful playoff games but that’s just not where this club is this year or next.

I’d hate to see him go but I wouldn’t blame him. I’m a Bengals fan too and I’m starting to think it’s an orange and black thing. Lock down a great player and let them get frustrated

TK’s thoughts on the existential crisis caused by playing for the Flyers.

I really, really hope every guy that’s been on this team for a while feels the same way. That might put an end to the endless half-rebuild.

Well get used to it because you dont have the talent to win. If Briere properly addressed this you would be elsewhere in the playoffs potentially winning a cup while we are in a position to grab an elite C or Dman.

Hahah Travis let me break it to you, the best shot you have at making the playoffs is in another teams uniform. Tell Danny you wanna waive your NMC and I can trade you for a haul at the deadline.

  7. thatdudefromthattime

    That’s ’C’ behavior.

He’d be such a playoff player too. He lives for high intensity games.

Sadly I think if he really wants it while he’s a star player he should probably request a trade.

TK and the Flyera Way …..what a story

They need to fucking get in a room and figure it the fuck out. Other than Konecny, Zegras, Dvorak/Brink at times this season, they’ve produced limited offense. The defensemen are not producing consistent points either. They need to stay out of the fucking box and get after teams early. And the PP HAS TO PRODUCE.

Michkov needs to move back to the right side where he’s played his entire career. Make him more comfortable so he can go to work producing offense. Cates is a decent pairing, but I’d love to see them try Zegras on his line to get him going. I worry about Couturier showing some serious age, despite being in the best shape we’d seen him to start the year. I think you let him anchor the 3rd line (centering Deslaurier/Hathaway was disrespectful to your captain smh), and pair him with Barkey and Brink to make up for his lack of speed. Let him play a more positional centerman game and allow Barkey and Brink to forecheck and make something out of nothing. We really miss Foerster’s ability to do that as well.

    Something like:

    Tippett – Dvorak – Konecny
    Zegras – Cates – Michkov
    Barkey – Coots – Brink
    Grebs – Gaucher – Tomasino?

    Hathaway/Deslaurier

Power play needs to have possession guys who don’t panic and can move the puck quickly and cleanly. They really need another center who can win faceoffs.

Lastly, Tocchet needs to get his head out of his ass and do something other than look dejected after another brutal loss. LFG BOYS GET IT RIGHT ONE TIME.

Detroit has missed the playoffs in Steve Yzermans first six seasons and there was a ground swell of Red Wings fans that wanted him fired as late as last year. Briere has been GM less than three seasons, that’s not really long enough to judge him fairly.

So, Konecny + Sanheim as a trade package gets you what and which playoff teams would be interested?

  13. Blursed_Technique

Lmao the kids are quiet because they think the organization is shit

  14. Evergreen1055

TK is the real leader of this team right now. He’s leading by example.

  15. MurkyConnection3177

This guy should be wearing the C. Coots gotta kick rocks

  16. Steppyjim

This reminds me of the gif of the Browns fan screaming into the void IM SO TIRED OF FUCKING LOSING.

Well boys they spent three years developing a culture, hold each other accountable and show us with your play not your words
