I cannot say how proud and excited I am for Nick Suzuki. As a London guy who watched him punish the Knights for three years, I was beyond excited when the Habs picked him up. I told my buddy that despite Patches going the other way, I thought we got the best player in that deal.
He’s on TEAM CANADA now, when two years ago, many people thought he couldn’t be a 1C.
He’s the heart and soul of this team and it’s absolutely crazy to me that he’s a Hab.

I’m just adding Suzuki’s lifetime powerplay production. It’s gone through the roof this year.
I’m sure his linemates this year help, but a lot is him improving every year at every facet of the game.

He’s still producing after losing his usual linemate Slaf; and Texier is not in the same league as Slaf. This ability to adapt and find ways to win is what is most telling rn. Cole is doing something similar.
