I love the fact that we have 2 cups, back to back and a likely 3rd, if our team hadn’t been literally « broken » (bones, torn tendons, etc. by the kittens), in our current jersey
if it aint broke, don’t break it and since Vinik has owned this team, and still has ownership % in it, and he liked these jerseys and approved them…

The team has had a lot of success under this look, I doubt it will change anytime soon.

I’m probably gonna piss off everyone with this take, but I don’t like our current logo/jerseys *and* I don’t like our original logo/jerseys.
My problem with the current look is that it’s too boring and too Leafs-ish, and it needs to re-incorporate black. I’d also be fine with some grey/silver if it were used in a very small capacity, like as a trim.
The original logo is, in my opinion, extremely dated. I don’t like the graffiti-ish font, which is just pure 90s but in a bad way, and I don’t like how much grey there is.
It seems like franchises like to hang on to the looks or bring back the look their franchises saw the most success in .
Reverse Retro 1.0 should be the default third jersey.

Am I the only one who wants our jerseys to be blue/black? I think the very first reverse retro jerseys we had with the black shorts look amazing. I’m not saying I hate our current jerseys, but I really dislike we just became another blue team.

It looks like this year I’ll finally be able to afford a jersey of my own.
And honestly, I don’t want one in our current default look. It makes me think too much of modern corporate minimalism. You see it on company logos, on packages, on just about every piece of art nowadays.
It looks clean, yes.
But it also doesn’t look like very much effort was put into it.
I’d like to see black and silver return at the very least.
Our uniforms are the Detroit Red Wings in blue Stevie Y picked them. Phil Esposito save them some what by making him changing the pants by adding the lightning bolt. Present uniforms are boring. Need to go back to are original colors. Black Blue silver and white.
I mean apparently we are getting a new black jersey next season as part of the new fantics replacement for Reverse Retro.

Nah, the current logo is perfect and the simplicity of the jerseys is beautiful.
