Pretty simple reason. They’ve played just about as much hockey as you could over the course of three years. It takes a toll on their bodies and minds

We played 68 additional games the past 3 seasons. So essentially 4 seasons crammed into 3. The guys need a rest and that’s okay, nothing to be ashamed of regardless of what the mouth-breathing neckbeards in the other subs say.

I mean it’s disappointing seeing this many players out of the line up . It’s hard to even blame them for some of these losses honestly, I thought they played pretty well today, they didn’t make a lot of mistakes really but it was just a tight game that could go either way. If they go 2-0-1 here in these next 3 games they’d be in a good spot for after the olympics. I don’t really see the point in commenting “this seasons over” after every game played, if you feel that way then you shouldn’t even be watching honestly. It’s still very possible to make play offs, is it harder? Yes obviously , but no where near impossible , the standings can still shift drastically

Dude, our team has won two straight cups and we’ve been to three straight finals. It’s okay to be disappointed but not question why we’re so injured it. They play the roughest game in the NHL and have had 2 months to heal each year
