    Mike, here’s the thing. Matthews needs an elite assist man. Domi is better at this lately but he’s no replacement for Marner. Thomas would elevate Matthews game back to Rocket 🚀 Richard Trophy 🏆 levels. Thomas had back-to-back 60 assist seasons prior to this year + a 57 assist campaign in 2021-22. If he can play Center then he can move over to the wing too. I like Knies but I doubt he ever develops to Thomas’s level.

    Knies would be great. Reunite him with Snuggy. Don’t know if Doug would do it though simply because centers are more valuable and we don’t have a replacement for Thomas. Dvorsky looks like he’s projecting to be a decent/good second line center at best

    Thomas is a better player but you need guys like Knies on your team for a playoff run so its a no for me dawg.
