@Flames de Calgary

  1. Does Ras still count as a Flames player? One could argue there is only 1 team to pick from.

    i’ll still cheer for ras and sweden, hoping if they need one more add that backlund would be the guy.

    I’m anti Team Sweden. There is no good reason Backlund should not be on that team, especially with their injuries. He is having a great season, his PK and checking game are perfect for that ice, he’s 14th in the NHL is faceoffs and he’s an NHL captain.

    Fuck Sweden for real.

    My default is always Sweden when Canada isn’t playing. I love the players and the country. I also love underdogs.

    You can’t go wrong in my books

    Backland not being Carlson’s injury replacement 👎☹️

    I normally like Sweden but really feel they did Backlund dirty here, so I’ll be cheering against them.

    Team Slovakia also has former flame Adam Ružička

    I would go Slovakia. I really love pospisil and after what he has gone through this season so far I hope they do well.

    Slovakia because of ex-Leaf legend, Martin Marincin.

    I think Backlund being left off team Sweden after Carlssson’s injury is a huge snub and could be a costly mistake. He’s not a flashy player, but the amount of minutes he plays against top NHL talent would make him an auto-include for me even from the first lineup. That along with the fact that he’s having a career year production wise.

    You can support as many teams as you want. I cheer for Finland, Canada and Sweden.
