This could win us the cup or make us 1st round exits with Panarin having 1 point.

Jesus. This might happen and I don’t know how I feel about it. One part of me says hell yeah, and the other part says “if it ain’t broke”

This price is fair as long as it’s only the players listed.

    – in my armchair gm opinion…

The teams gonna have to suck and rebuild at some point, it’s not forever that we’ll have a top 3 winger of all time, a generational goalie, elite depth, and elite coaching. While we do we have to go all in. Something like O’Reilly, Bjork, Carlile, + picks for Panarin + picks maybe?

Obviously I trust JBB (more or less) but the idea of a big trade like this makes me extremely nervous. When a team is rolling like we are this season, it feels like you could easily take a big swing and just completely fuck it up.

I’ve pivoted now more towards Trocheck. Cirelli and Paul both being hurt has made real centerman more of a priority. Trocheck is also two years younger than Panarin and will likely be much more price friendly as a rental. I also think re-signing him and Raddysh both would be doable if Raddysh wants to stay.

Give Raddysh a fat offer (he probably hits UFA anyways), rent Trocheck, potentially try to rent both Trocheck + Panarin if the moron Drury can’t find a suitor to sign and trade for Panarin due to his ridiculous ask.

Idk if I like this. I dont know what he adds that we don’t have already. You cant win a cup with talent alone.

I would rather make a fringes move and resign Raddysh. Not that I think he’s the better player but Panarin is almost the same age as Heddy who half this forum wants to dump right now and the difference between Raddysh and Panarin salaries is a whole nother good player

Bjork, SOR and a conditional 2nd that turns into a 1st if we make the conference finals. Maybe throw back Gage or Lilleberg if you absolutely have to to get them to retain. Get it done JBB

as others are, I am nervous about adding. but when you kuch and vasy playing like this, you go for it till they aren’t. adding another high end forward could put us over the top and create insurance in case we start playoffs with someone injured.

alot of people are assuming raddysh is already gone, I dont think so. he may get more on the market but he knows he can be good here with us and kuch, I think he signs a fair extension with us. but a panarin extension could affect that. so need to go for it but need to be careful handing out a huge extension to a 34 year old when we dont even know if he will actually fit with us

I think there could be someone younger out there already on a good contract who is more of the 2 way forward we love to bring in. and if there is JBB will find him. JBB has earned my trust at this point, he will make the right move.

It could also be seen as going all in on the current Kuch contract.

Our top 6 would be diabolical next year as well (since Panarin wants a sign & trade). If we can somehow keep Raddysh too, our D will be the same next year.

This year, 2027 and maaaaybe 2028 are the last years to really go for it (given the level play this year if thst keeps up)

Agreed; I can’t see letting Raddysh walk. He’s revitalized the PP and just turning 30 this month.

I just dont see whats wrong with the team as they have been performing. Their additions are going to be injury returns. Also whats the point of getting SOR if you never intend on giving him a chance

I think the price is too high.
We have to pay for him, then possibly pay extra for the NYR to retain salary. Then we have to fit Raddysh on his new deal in the summer, and then we have to sign Kuch the following year…

I’d be more open to it for a rental tbh, but then again he has disappeared in the playoffs the last couple times he was there, so I don’t even think it’s worth it at all
