This part is great (on hearing many flames fans didnt like the return):
« They got a first-round pick, a second-rounder that could be a first if we win the Cup, plus they got a prospect and a good player in this league for many years who won the Cup with (Zach) Whitecloud. I think it’s a really good return for the Flames, and hopefully I can make it a really good return for Vegas.”
Then came the mock apology, which is pure Andersson.
“I’m sorry I’m no Quinn Hughes, where you get eight first-round picks,” he chuckled.
“I’m not that player. I think I’m one of the most realistic guys there is. I don’t know how much these people want for me.”
It’s always telling to compare how former Flames players talk about the organization versus former Oilers players.
Rasmus will always have my respect

I have so many reasons to hate Vegas, but Ras doing well would make up for a good bit of it if they win.

After the Flames traded their top picks to get Dougie during the 2015 draft, I will never forget how stoked I was when they drafted Ras and Kylington as well. Can’t wait to feel the same level of excitement I did for this team between then and 2022.
I still like him. I’ll miss the chirps and stare downs.
This is what was best for him and best for the team.

They got a good return for him, I’m not sure why any fan would boo him.

One of my favourite Flames ever and he always will be. He loved this team and he was a total warrior for us.
Man is more honest than many players
Always appreciated him, appreciated his work to get us a good return, and I especially appreciated him putting up with some toxic people online and not letting it take away from his play

Anderson mailed it. It was a great return for him, especially after that panaren trade. The same people saying that was not enough were the people complaining we just need to get rid of him for whatever we can get over the summer
