Oilers GM did a Holloway and Broberg to Perry and Brown. Oilers GM handed out cash to others and expected Holloway, Broberg, Perry and Brown to stay on team friendly contracts. Lets go back a bit. Here is Perry and Brown going above and beyond on team friendly contracts and then the signing of 8 years for Trent. You wonder why Perry and Brown ditched the Oilers? Start there. There was cap to extend both Perry and Brown and they spent the money on Frederick, who was trending down. Once Fredick was signed there wasnt enough to extend both Perry and Brown and once Perry and Brown walked they brought in Mangaipane. That is why the Oilers are never winning the Cup with McDavid. The Oiler GM.

Relax everyone. Oilers win the cup easy this year cuz Florida isn't going to be there. Oilers in the weakest division so automatic pass. Then they always own Dallas who owns Avs (only team that can beat EDM in a best of 7) so easy road to cup finals automatic berth. They dont have ANYTHING to worry about.
O-dog is right, teed off on everyone but himself. Sure you can argue he is including himself when he says WE need to defend better. He’s the worst offender when it comes to defending, just say I need to be better and go out there and set an example instead of floating around, getting your two goals and being a liability in your own end.
