Mikkola, La Tortuga-Rata, originally checked Kucherov in the back. Then he skates to the bench to dodge any kind of repercussions because he’s literally one of the biggest rats in the game. He’s replaced by Tkachuk who skates 80′ to make sure he can attack Kucherov from behind.
When asked to answer for his actions later by Douglas, Mikkola does what he always does…turtles. He’s an absolute clown.
It goes so far beyond them just being an unlikable team. The clear and deliberate favoritism from the NHL (lookin’ at you, Campbell and son), the history of provable game fixing via emails to the officials, the fact that either of them still hold a position in this league… It’s an embarrassment. Every time they get away with their bullshit it’s salt in the eye of hockey fans.
