  1. With all the speculation that he was going to Carolina, what changed? Obbiously the 'Canes could offer the Rangers more than the Kings. Would like to find out what it was. Rather see Panarin go out west, than go to Fla or Tampa.

  2. Sorry Rangers fans for piling on. Saw Greentree at LA Kings Rookie Games. Underwhelming at best. Did not dominate either of the two games. Did not score a goal. For a big guy, played on the perimeter. (it was strange that the LA Kings used him as a left winger, when he plays right wing in juniors.) Usually if you have a hot prospect, you keep him on for a nine-game proving stint in the NHL before you have to send him back to Juniors. The Kings sent Greentree back to Juniors well before the end of training camp. And his production is down this season (perhaps that a partner was traded to another organization made Greentree a better player.) Barely sniffed the ice at the WJC.

  3. Bash MSG management all you want but my thing is if a player makes it known that he wants out then get him out. The problem here is that if a small market team blows it up that's one thing but when their loyal, die-hard fans are paying MSG prices it's a tough sell, especially when the team got so close after the last "letter" and didn't go all the way, maybe Jim Dolan needs to completely clean house in the front office, as well as the locker room.

  4. As a Ranger fan i would have been fine resigning him at 12 for 3 years. DUMBEST DEAL EVER. If i was Bread i would have said I'm going to free agency

  5. Artemi Panarin 73 playoff games 21 goals but 40 assists. Pretty good now but Panarin will be 35 yrs old this year and at the point where NHL players can and will slow down. Hockey is a young mans game, Glad to hear that Panarin is no longer in the metropolitan division.

  6. Opening the door for Robertson the elite goal scorer that can finish going into his prime huge big size body unlike these 5'10' little guys.
