I mean as a Swede, Olympics is the biggest thing in hockey, I even think WC and WJC is bigger then lord stanley.. most of us cant even watch NHL games
I’m confused at “oh well”. Are you disappointed he watched the Olympics every year growing up?
So often outside people mistake lack of over-the-top partying, flamboyance or lack of big words and a lot of energy in interviews and all that stuff for lack of engagement and passion. Referring to the interviewer’s assumption of Raymond not being vocal or as outwardly present. It’s pretty obvious to me at least, how much inner fire and passion he has when watching the games, so I’m not surprised at all that he shot it down in the interview.
He is a real leader for the Red Wings and Tre Kronor, in my eyes at least. The 4 goals he had in the U18 final in his draft year told me everything about that.
