@Canadiens de Montréal

    What a gamble.

    And what a massive payoff!

    Good thing he didn’t get fired whenever we go on a 2 game losing streak like a lot of posters here wanted

    Probably Kent Hughes’s most important move, at least until locking up Hutson and Caufield long term.

    This guy brought the culture in the dressing room and it was the most important thing this team was missing for the past 15 years

    He looked so young! Even with the gray hair…

    You can see how this team aged him 😅

    Most former nhl all stars dont want to be coaches ever in their lives.

    Marty has been a captain and a legend for the latter half of his career. There was no shot he wouldn’t be a great coach.

    He is what we all want in a leader in our own careers. Someone who knows the locker room and knows the game, didn’t come up through nepotism, and someone not looking to succeed in order to get more money.

    He’d never leave MTL by defending his system and blaming his group for the underperformance. That’s how he gets the full buy in. We’re in a beautiful time in Habs history.

    4 years in and he still hasn’t peaked. If they win the Cup his arc will be legendary.

    The team has very clearly aged him!

    I dont know what makes a coach a good coach, straight up dont know the game well enough – but what he says about coaching always makes sense to me

    The Montreal Canadiens Will Win the Stanley Cup with him behind the bench 😍

    That was such an out-of-nowhere hire. But it worked.
