Ok, I’m not sure how many people around here will be familiar with a 140 year old folk song, but in the song Jesse James (who lived under the alias Thomas Howard), there is a line « that dirty little coward, who shot Mr. Howard… » When my son who is 24 now was a wee one (ie, back when Jimmy Howard played), he used to sing « that dirty little coward, who shot the goalie Howard… »
Anyway, that’s all I got.

If you think about it, he’s our last long-term, consistently good starter. While we’ve had other decent goalies since Howard, they’ve always felt like stop gaps.
