See guys, just get EP40 on a line with Raymond and he’ll unlock him

LUCAS RAYMOND GOT ME BRICKED UP AT 6:30AM

  4. eatingnachos

Well that goal’s going on the highlight reel for sure

Raymond needs to be put on Sweden’s top line. Best playmaker and one of the best defensive forwards for Sweden.

LUKE “YES!” RAYMOND IS A DETROIT RED WING!

So happy I stayed up after my 12 hour night shift so I could watch Mo and Ray play for a bit. LETS GO BABY!!!

Who is everyone’s most intriguing under the radar prospect? Genborg would’ve been my choice before the season, but he isn’t under the radar anymore. I’ll go with Noah Dower-Nilsson, 20 years old and is playing his second full time season in the SHL. He is at about 0.4 PPG this year

Oh Ray you gotta be sneakier than that.

Him dragging his feet going to the box was hilarious

yeah that was not a great penalty to take lol. ray better get one more to make up for it

Ray was doing so well and then he had to go and take that stupid penalty.

  13. big_phat_gator

Veteran move by Tatar to get that penalty to begin with, he knew Raymond was fired up.

  14. Beatricejd

Hopefully this is a learning experience for Ray. He needs to not do that in the playoffs.

Crazy how that Sweden win was basically a loss. The preliminary rounds are a cluster fuck. A 3 way tie is really about to be decided by goal differential.

Only right way to decide this is a 3 team free-for-all style game played on a super rink /s

The silver lining is that, if that Raymond penalty costs Sweden the tournament, it’ll be a good lesson for him to remain disciplined in critical moments of the game – something he’ll need moving forward in the playoffs.

So if Finland wins against Italy then Slovakia wins group? I think that would put Sweden 3rd in the group and in the 7 seed. We very well may have a USA-Sweden quarterfinal

Barring any kind of crazy choke/collapse, it seems like the women’s team is on a historic run right now. The way they are outshooting opponents (I think yesterday it was 50+ shots to 6) and just dominating, it’s been fun to watch. Italy trying to muck it up yesterday while getting absolutely curb stomped was hilarious. I don’t think I’ve seen a game yet, including against Canada, where it didn’t look like a bunch of pros playing a beer league team and 90% of the game was spent in the opposing team’s end.
