None of us were in the locker room so we can’t say for certain who is at fault with the Petey situation. To say otherwise is just speculation.
The fact that many of his former Canuck teammates and coaches still speak very highly of Miller is telling.

I have met JT Miller before when he was in Victoria for training camp. I had a Miller jersey with me, saw him hanging out with Boeser and maybe PDG walking down Douglas street and hang out, I went up to him and ask if he would sign my jersey, he stopped and signed it for me. He wasn’t miserable and he just did signed it even though he didn’t have to. I am not sure how credible the source of the story is, or he could be having a good day vs bad day. But Miller did stopped and made time for me when I asked him to sign my Miller jersey when he could’ve easily just ignored me and moved along with Boeser and PDG.

You aren’t obligated to meet a 10 year old girl. Yeah, it would’ve been nice if he did but I’m not going to get angry at him for not doing something he’s not obligated to do. I’m a massive JT Miller hater btw.

Mental health is a real thing. Dude’s just going through the motions it seems. I’m no professional athlete, with the pressures that brings, but someone who goes through waves of depression as well, it’s easy to identify when someone else is currently feeling like a shell of themselves.

As much as I love JT Miller hate, most autograph signings are people looking to make a quick buck. Some people even use their kids as pawns

I still like him. He seemed to like Vancouver and the fans, and he had a 99 and 103 point season for us. He seems like a good family man as well. Maybe that’s unpopular, but whatever.

JT and Quinn have the same expressions on their faces .. kinda looks like this greatly annoys them that they have to be here like they aren’t getting paid enough to give two shits. I’m happy we moved on from those two players it was such a depressing grind to watch them play some nights they were great other nights passable and both ups and downs they still looked miserable as fucks made watching Canucks so depressing.

At the Meet the team event, JT signed this card for me. He could’ve drawn a moustache on Petey’s face but he didn’t. Phew!
I’m not a JT fan but this is not only hearsay, he very easily could have not noticed or have been going through something heavy at the moment.
Severing a guy on one story is kinda weak.
