That used to be a great mall. But like most other malls it’s become a shell of itself and the property needs could use a facelift. But do you really want an arena right next to 400? A highway that’s a nightmare all the time? Not to mention the surface streets really aren’t designed to carry big event traffic.

I think it would be great to have another team in the south but all of these plans don’t seem to be real thought out.

Seriously? They’ve already chased two nhl teams out of the city. What chance do they think they’ll have for a third?

How many more chances does Atlanta get to destroy another hockey team?

There’s no way Atlanta is going to be without a team for too long. If they have an interested owner and an arena the NHL will trip over themselves to get them an expansion team. It’s too big of a city to ignore. Same goes for Houston.

The NHL has failed enough times in Georgia. Give it a break. Put teams in places that support hockey.
