Per Elliot Friedman on Twitter/X, a 5 min fighting major comes with an automatic 1 game suspension in the IIHF. So Wilson obviously won’t be available when Canada plays their quarterfinal game.

Gordie would have been the one dealing the elbow, not a chance anyone would pull Gordie down like that off his skates in a fight and playing on a line with Cerebrini and MacDavid it would be harder to go a game without an assist than get one. Other than that it will be a pretty tough trivia question in a few years
