The problem with Couturier is that he doesn't produce enough, even when he gets a lot of ice time. This year he has 5 goals in 55 games. If his ice time is cut to 10 minutes, he'll be far from the 10 goals Ryan Poehling was giving us. I hope he'll wake up one morning, look in the mirror, and realize it's the end. Otherwise it's a buyout….
With Coots.. I don't understand how you can keep paying a full contract when he has a significant injury! Isn't that the reason they are insured? From Aus here so don't understand how it works

Why on earth would you want Kyle Connor? As you mention, he's a winger, but he's also nearly 30. WE HAVE A STOCKPILE OF WINGERS. WE DON'T NEED ANOTHER ONE. We need a young center. There are only so many ways to attain one, and our best hope is the draft.
This rebuild imo has not started and won’t until the Flyers get a 1C and 1D potential, and the only way to get it if to bottom out and pick high. For example, this draft has 3 or 4 defenseman in the first 10 or so picks that have that potential and right now the Flyers will not get any of them. If we keep picking 14th we shouldn’t expect to move this forward. This year should not be about the playoffs.
The Bruins in 1/2 a season went from all in for the playoffs, no picks and no prospects to trading two marginal players in Charlie Coyle and Carlo and getting multiple picks James Hagans, Zellers and Minton. That is how you retool!
Again the 16 of 17 Stanley Cup winnere had a #1 or #2 pick outside of the 2019 Blues who had the #4 and #5 pick. Mostly drafted #1 or 2. To keep saying bottoming out doesnt work is just not factual. Unless Danny will make a massive trade with tons of assets given up we will be stuck in no mans land
Steve Peters video was very concerning about Michkov. I came away with this is more than a sophomore slump, this is player that is not engaging physically or mentally. I also came away in Tocchets corner.

The way Jason addresses team concern makes you not even wanna be a fan of this team anymore. The condescending tone is tiring and this team ain’t going anywhere. Bozos
