@Hurricanes de la Caroline

    Unless he’s a changed player in terms of two way effort, I’m not interested. I remember Rod, Erik Cole, and others made remarks on his way out that he wasn’t a fit here.

    I hate to say it, but if there’s not even room for him on the sharks then there sure as hell isn’t room for him here. If he wants to play NHL hockey again, his best bet is to sign an AHL deal and prove that he deserves an NHL roster spot

    I was so goddamn angry when we traded him for Cliff Pu and a bag of pucks. Then the bag of pucks turned out to be Kooch and Boom, and here’s Skinner getting cut by the Sharks. Goes to show what I know about anything.

    It’s a bummer to see what his career has become, but he does not need another stint here.

    Nope he couldn’t back check with a 20 foot stick. He has 0 work ethic. I hate to see it, just glad we shipped him out when we did.

    The Canes could do the funniest thing

    I think we need to remember that the year Rod became coach is the year we shipped him off. I’ll always love Skinny, but his playstyle is league-worst defense.

    Another small forward? Fuck no.

  9. What does this have to do with the Canes?

    I will always have a soft spot for him, but it’s time for him to move on from the NHL

    If you can’t stick with the rebuilding sharks, you’re not meant for this league anymore.

    It’s crazy to think he’s made basically $100 mil when he’s been irrelevant for basically all of his career once he left Carolina. Only time he got talked about was to marvel at how bad his production was in Buffalo and how he had never played a single playoff game (before last year).

    Probably should just retire and move on to the next stage of his life at this point.

    We still have a bunch of Rutherfords in here.

    Y’all gotta learn how to move on.

    He takes a lot of unnecessary penalties because he’s constantly irresponsible with his stick work.

    Either the Rangers or Vancouver should sign him as their 1st pairing LD – if you are going to embrace the tank, you ought to go all in! Then they can get Gavin McKenna – the goon from Penn State!
