Germany just running out of steam. They just don’t have the depth to outlast a tourney like this. Their top line/pair can match up with most but it’s just too thin after that.
So embarassed as a german. Looking forward to see the Red Wings again on ice

Turns out having 3 really good players and a couple of guys who couldn’t hack it in the AHL isn’t a recipe for success.

I don’t like how the commentator is pronouncing Seider as Zeider.
So we’ll only have one Red Wing in the Olympics after today. I hope it’s been a dream come true and I’m happy for them but selfishly I just can’t wait to see everyone back in the Winged Wheel. Just having practice media yesterday felt so good after such a long break.

Seider and Raymond playing like they have been should certainly force Stevie’s hand into making a move.
We NEED another defenseman. We NEED a 2C.
Petterson has not helped or really hurt his case to be that guy. He’s certainly not proved to be an $11m player, so taking his full contract should be a cheap get. Maybe Raymond can unlock him a little bit. I think Vancouver was hoping for inspired play on his country’s team and got a bunch of the same. It’s safe to say he is a 60 point player now. So he’s a decent 2C. I’d offer 2 firsts and Buium for him. That’s it.
Tralmarks has been interesting – I’d give him a cup of coffee as a 4th liner and throw him on PP2. Maybe he can find a niche and get some scrappy goals. I think he’s earned it during the Olympics.
But at the roster « unfreeze » I’d love to see Stanley at minimum on the team. He’s a 3rd pairing guy, but we have Florida 3 times and they’re going to be particular assholes.
