    I have read all of your comments and think differently:

    I do not think that the problem is necessarily Nick playing wing. I think the problem is that Nick was playing on McKinnon’s wing. I am not sure their playstyles fit. In fact, I am gonna go further and say that not many players synergize with McKinnon (from the 4 Nation as well). He is more individualistic. His mindset is « shot volume ». Nick is the opposite and favors high quality chances over volume.

    With McKinnon, Suzuki is restricted to a « wait and see » game and I feel that he thus struggles to find a spot. He becomes invisible. I fear it would be the same if he was McKinnon’s center. I might be wrong though.
