I think he almost has a point in every game. Him and Quinn have been great

This should not be surprising. Jack is regularly a top 5 possession hound amongst American players in the NHL. He’s doing that on a team that is a mess under this Keefe/Fitz identity switch. Pair him with some bonafide other studs and it amplifies his dominance. Jack has always been a good finisher, but a elite facilitator. He is tilting the ice in his lines favor and the guys on his line are smart enough to be in the right spot and skilled enough to finish what Jack is sending their way.
Jack looked just a good for long stretches of 4 nations, Matthews just unfortunately finished none of the home runs jack tee’d up for him.
We’ve also all regularly seen him cut against the grain in the d zone to scoop pucks from high danger areas or end a forecheck by gathering the puck back into soft space.
Our boy is stunting on these hoes.

I would argue that it’s been Quinn or Eichel.
But Jack is balling out.

Devils fans looking for any way to glorify the guy that can’t stay on the ice.

Almost like focusing on size for this tournament was a fucking waste by the staff when the rules are the way they are. Imagine Jack with Zegras out there.

Easily the most valuable player on the ice. Playing 4th line minutes and leading all forwards in points except for Matthew’s.
Where is the criticism for guys like Guentzel? 1 goal, 0 assists through 5 games. If he’s not contributing. take him off the first line!
seatega
Jack has played on the 4th line the entire tournament and is 16th in TOI but is tied for 4th in points for the team

Is Jack doing better because there’s less hitting and more ice in the Olympic hockey? Just curious.

I need Rupp to stop speaking on anything related to the Devils

Playing 11 or 12 minutes a night. Hilarious usage.

I’m usually pretty tough on Jack especially during these types of playoff style games but he’s been pretty impressive. Based on the 4 Nations, i was a little worried about him haha

Dare I say that the olympics might be the reset that this group needs?
Cleisty
He absolutely has not get a grip lol

He’s one of the most talented players on the planet. Nobody should be surprised he stands out in a talented group.
He has weaknesses but his skill level is as high as you can get. He’s an underrated player because he hasn’t played for good teams. His GM has done a poor job surrounding him with the right players and coaches.

Praying that if things go well , Quinn will realize how much he wants to play with the brothers & dosn’t want to wait for them to come to Minnesota. Also – whoever is in charge of the Devils , DO WHATEVER it takes to get Quinn on our team.

It’s definitely been Quinn, but I’d put Jack Hughes/Eichel right after him.

Very interesting backtrack from Rupper here…
How many games back before he goes on the IL?
