That is obvious now, but in the moment none of the 4 referees saw it, neither did I , and even the Canadians players on the bench didn’t noticed it.
It’s a good thing Canada won anyway, this would have been embarrassing for the Olympics and for professional Hockey as a whole.
I don’t understand how EVERYONE missed it. All 4 officials, the Canadian players on the ice, the bench, the coaches AND Cuthbert and Johnson on the call. Johnson is between the benches as well!
