Before we destroy this team, the Canucks need an old school coach like Jacque Lemaire. If the change in coaching doesn't fix this team then yes clean house.

I thought it was a mistake not to put Petterson out against Hughes in OT. Who knows how better how dangerous he is from that spot on the ice better than Petey? He's great defensively. In my head cannon, Petey won that game for the Swedes on the breakaway he got from an amazing check on our former captain.
Pettersson (40) has Ben identified as a REAL issue with other talented players, if it was any other team he’d be gone!
Trade all if possible by trade deadline:
– Garland
– Debrusk
– Kane
– Blueger
– Kampf
That way we can also make some more roster spots for the younger guys next season and build draft capital. I would say EP40 and Demko too, but idk if it really happens tbh. If they at least can move all those guys, I would be happy.

No. You never sell low. Buy low sell high, that is how you become successful.
So nothing has really changed they are still looking to trade the expiring UFA's. They will do anything to improve the team so we will see. So far i have not seen any sign of rebuild, just doing what every team should do, ship off UFA's for picks or prospects. Let me know when they trade Petey and Demko, then we will have evidence of rebuild. So far all we have seen is trades where the player wants out.

Manny Maholtra will be the next coach. Bringing him in would provide a decent boost to finish the year and young players thinking about playing here might actually like the idea of playing for the Coach of the Calder Cup Champions.
