Faire un post de suivi du jeu NJD @ OTT auquel je suis allé le 31 janvier.
J’habite à LI, New York, et j’assiste habituellement aux matchs des Islanders ou des Devils. Quand Ottawa est en ville, je fais des folies en achetant des sièges, car pourquoi pas.
Eh bien, j’ai fait mon premier voyage à Ottawa il y a quelques semaines pour assister à un match et c’était génial ! Merci à ceux qui ont vu mon premier post et commenté des conseils de voyage et des choses à faire. J’ai obtenu un certificat de premier match, j’ai fait toutes les choses gratuites que je pouvais, j’ai vu Ullmark revenir et une belle victoire des Sénateurs ! De plus, j’ai reçu une rondelle de match et un maillot alternatif parce que je les trouve magnifiques (n°6 dans ma collection).
Même si j’aime encourager mon équipe, j’aimerais qu’ils en fassent un peu plus pendant l’entracte (les matchs des Îles sont ridiculement amusants), mais avoir des artistes en direct est aussi vraiment cool. Peut-être qu’ils en avaient plus, mais je n’ai pas quitté mon siège pendant les entractes. J’ai fait tout le trajet en 48h avec un vol à 6h le lendemain matin 😵💫
C’était la 8ème arène de la LNH que je fréquentais (NYIx3, NYR, NJD, BOS, CAR).
C’est le post, j’attends patiemment que la saison reprenne désormais.

I think a lot of sens fans don’t really care about the live music, but usually it’s local bands and if they’re playing bangers during a fast paced game, the atmosphere as the team comes back out is usually good.
One thing I noticed having attended a lot of games in Canada and the US is that generally in Canada, people don’t seem to care about entertainment during intermissions or breaks in play. Usually I take the intermission to check other scores or sports going on or just to talk about the game with my friends.
I always kind of thought of it a bit as the game is the entertainment for Canadians while the intermission is to complain about your team and for Americans the intermissions are also part of entertainment.
My fave in game or intermission entertainment is the Timbits kids playing on the ice or when they have silly fan games.
Awesome! How/why did you become a Sens fan? We don’t see too many out of the Ottawa area unless they moved haha.
