
Wayne Simmonds se sent toujours comme le dernier Flyer qui incarnait pleinement l’identité de l’équipe. Production, présence nette devant, ténacité, défend les coéquipiers, embrasse la ville.
Ray Emery est mon finaliste. Position différente mais même bord et attitude qui correspondent au maillot. Même Braden Schenn avait ce feu.
En regardant la liste maintenant, je commence à penser que les Flyers n’ont tout simplement plus de joueurs qui incarnent cette version traditionnelle de la franchise.
Suis-je parti ou est-ce que d’autres ressentent la même chose ? Qui correspond réellement à cette identité aujourd’hui ?

I would throw Hartnell into that mix too. But man, I played a good amount of my hockey career modeling Simmonds. Favorite player of all time.
