That was a fun game with a lot of back and forth, if these teams manage to meet up in the playoffs it would be a great series. Florian Xhekaj shows why he can be such a pain to play against, sticking up for Mesar and then later dropping the gloves after being pushed into the boards, though he was lucky he didn’t get a 5 minute major since he did throw some punches. Engstrom, Beck, Roy, Thorpe all with assists. Glad to see Reinbacher wasn’t injured when he went into the boards and was slow to get up.

The play-by-play voice on this clip is Rochester Americans Don Stevens. He’s retiring at the end of this season after 40 years & 33 hundred games called with the club. I like the guy and enjoy his work when the Rocket play the Amerks. By the way he told a story during the broadcast last night saying that as a 15 or 16 year old he attended a Beatles concert!
