Assist to Makar for losing the puck deep in their end, and assist to Mackinnon for having a 50-50 chance to get the puck when the American lost the puck for a few seconds in our end and Mac pulled up from going for the puck.
Honorable mention to the 2 US officials who missed the 7 man « too many men » penalty. Christ, Don Cherry only let six guys on the ice and he lost his job over it.
